Accelerate Your Path to Leadership

Katie Leadership Impact (KLI) is a comprehensive program that provides opportunities for students to develop and harness their full potential as leaders through coursework, immersive experiences, internships, scholarships, and complementary events, including a leadership speaker series and summer camp. 

St. Kate's diverse network of faculty, staff, alumni, and business professionals empowers students from all backgrounds through personalized mentorship, developing their talents and amplifying their skills to harness their full potential.

KLI students graduate with a compelling resume, extensive experience, and a strong network, providing a solid foundation to lead and influence wherever their career might take them.

Leadership and Influence

The first class is Leadership and Influence, where students build confidence and strengthen their leadership abilities by exploring individual strengths, mastering inclusive leadership, identifying career opportunities, and gaining practical experience with faculty and mentor support.

Leaders Across Borders Program

Designed to foster transformative global leadership, the KLI Leaders Across Borders initiative is an innovative program dedicated to developing powerful female global leaders.

Through a blend of coursework, cultural immersion, a study abroad experience, project-based collaborations, and practical leadership experiences, this initiative prepares St. Kate’s students to make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond. Students transform into role models, thought leaders, and change agents, driving the creation of a more equitable and just world.

Leadership Minor

The Leadership minor is available to all undergraduate students at St. Kate’s. Through study and practice, students accelerate their knowledge and skills with comprehensive leadership education and applied experiences.

Paid Internships 

St. Kate students gain practical, real-world professional experience, sharpen skills, and build a powerful professional network through paid internship opportunities. Students have the opportunity to work alongside inspiring women entrepreneurs and business owners with our diverse community partnerships. 

Mentorship 

Through KLI, students connect with professional industry mentors who provide transformative insights, expert guidance, and personal career coaching, equipping them with the confidence and skills to excel as leaders. These relationships are invaluable to students and help shape their career exploration and trajectories at St. Kate’s and beyond. 

Additional Opportunities

Leadership ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ships 

KLI awards scholarships to first-year College for Women and College for Adults students who demonstrate a commitment to achieving their full potential as leaders. KLI awards 10 $5,000 need-based scholarships to College for Women students and 10 $2,500 need-based scholarships for College for Adults students.

KLI Business Summer Camp 

Each summer, the Katie Leadership Impact Business Summer Camp empowers rising 11th and 12th graders to be creative leaders and courageous agents of change. Through coursework, workshops, field trips, mentorship, and hands-on collaborative projects, students explore the world of business and experience life at St. Kate’s.

Women of Color Leadership Series 

The Women of Color Leadership Series showcases high-profile leaders, sharing their stories, talents, and insights, and connecting students with role models who embody the promise of meaningful global change.

This series features high-profile leaders who share their stories, successes, talent, and insight with our students throughout the year. Our guest leaders represent the brightest hopes for meaningful change in our world, inspiring future leaders.
